Latasha B. won $25,000 playing DC 5. The native Washingtonian fondly recalled her days as a student at Savoy Elementary School in Southeast DC. She said that experience helped shape her commitment to helping others. In addition to her full-time work, Latasha devotes time and resources to civic causes including youth development, literacy advocacy, and combating homelessness. She lives by the motto, "Be a blessing to others and it will come back to you."
